Today my sister signed up for a three day volunteer work and they were provided with net-books to work on. According to her, she didn’t like the net book as it hurt her eyes as she was using it for a long period encoding data from Sendong evacuation centers. Of course, she had the choice of using her own laptop, which she did eventually. Her companion recommended that she wear glasses, but the other volunteer in their group of six recommended using Biofinity lenses. Since it was her first time to hear about said eye protection, she chose to search about it online when she got home this evening. And of course, she shared the info she gathered from www.1800contacts.com with me. We need to take care of our eyes and wearing glasses is just one of them. However, for people who do not like to be seen with them, may opt to use contact lenses. And the latter actually comes in many different designs and colors to mark one’s aesthetic preferences. Whether the reason to wear one is to look good or to protect the eyes, it will actually be a very good option.
As for my sister, well, she is still working on her volunteer work tasks as of writing this, and I pity her because it is not just her eyes that is hurting now, but her back as well. I saw the work load and it is terrible. All data to be transferred and to be emailed right away when done.. Gosh.. They should have prepared this two days ago. I learned that it was kind of a rush because they are going to use the data for tomorrow’s meeting— well, shame on them. Hiring people to do their jobs at the peak hour.. Har work is not even enough for the allowance..
