The CDO Bloggers Inc has just had its outreach and feeding program at the Cadayunan Primary School, and I was so happy that even if I was not there with them, I was also able to contribute by giving away some items that they have enjoyed as seen in the photos that my sister showed me.
You can really see the smiles on their faces as they ate the food served, as they received their gifts and as they enjoyed the time spent with their givers. I am sure that if you are one of the few who gave support, whether it’s financial or in kind for this endeavor, you too will smile as you look into the happy details.
Above is my sister and Mommy Ruby, with some of the bags I gave away. Look at the smiles on their faces. The event is totally a recipe for happiness. Looking at the photos, I see that the guys who went there had a difficult time to reach the place, Besigan– the farthest point of the city of Cagayan de Oro..

They had to ride the bumpy road, trek through the muddy path, get dirty while walking under the rain with heavy load…but according to my sister, when they reached the peak, and saw the children who were waiting for them, all their tiredness vanished and they were all so happy to see them at last..
As a matter of fact, CDO Bloggers Inc shall go back there for more help.. Hopefully I can join them by then… I can’t wait to meet the kids too..
I wonder how it would feel to ride the dump truck– the only transportation to go there… I was told that this is provided by the city government to help the farmers transport their goods and products from Besigan to the market, and back.. My sister said the ride was quite okay at first, but halfway through it gets bumpy as the roads are really bad. I wonder why it was never given any attention..
